Hello Everyone!
My name is Sameena Topan and I'm running to represent you at the board of administration of the SFUO for the Faculty of social sciences.
I love this school, and I am very passionate about the student movement. If I'm elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that our faculty has a strong and balanced representation at the BOA.
I have been involved in a wide variety of projects in both college and here at the University of Ottawa. I currently work at the Centre for Students with Disabilities, and care very much about making this campus an accessible place for all.
I have also had the pleasure of working on great initiatives like International Development Week, the Drop Fees campaign and the Winter Challenge among others.
There are three things I believe that make me a great candidate:
1) First, I’m approachable, and really want to hear what people think about our school
2) Second, I’m accountable, and put 110% into everything I do
3) and third, I’m authentic, and truly believe each student has a voice and that voice can make all the difference!
So once again, my name is Sameena Topan and I hope you vote for me on February 9-10-11.

Je m'appelle Sameena Topan et je me présente pour vous représenter au Conseil d'administration de la FÉUO pour la Faculté des Sciences sociales.
J'adore cette université et je suis une passionnée du mouvement étudiant. Si je suis élue, je vais travailler très fort pour assurer que notre Faculté aie une représentation forte et responsible au CA.
J'ai été impliquée avec plusieurs projets au Collège et maintenant ici à l'Université d'Ottawa. Je travaille présentement au Centre des étudiants ayant un handicap pour faire de notre campus accessible pour tous et toutes.
J'ai aussi eu le plaisir de travailler sur des initiatives comme la Semaine du développement International, la campagne A bas les frais , le Défi Hivernal et plusieurs autres.
Il y a trois choses qui font de moi une bonne candidate:
Premièrement, je suis approchable, et je m'intéresse vraiment à ce que vous pensez de notre campus
Deuxièmement, je suis responsable et je me donne toujours à 110%
Finalement, je suis sincère et je pense que la voix de chaque étudiant peut faire une différence!
